Township Thanks Donors for Skate Park Fence

The Law School Admission Council and Princeton Brain and Spine Care donated money for the fence.

 

Newtown Township officials on Saturday thanked two local businesses for donating funds to purchase a fence around the skate park.

Newtown Township Supervisor Rob Ciervo and Parks and Recreation Director Kathy Pawlenko were at the skate park to thank representatives from the  and Princeton Brain and Spine Care, which has an office on Newtown-Langhorne Road.

The fence was installed in March and was recommended by the township's insurance company because of the proximity to the soccer field.

The skate park opened October 2010 and is located behind on West Road.
