BCCC Book Club Announces Titles for 2014

Bucks County Community College's book club is free and open to the public.

Bucks County Community College’s book club has announced the titles they will discuss in 2014. The group is free and open to the public. Meetings are held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in room 114 of the Rollins Center on the Newtown campus, 275 Swamp Rd.

The club, which meets the second Thursday of the month during the academic year, will discuss “Come to Me: Stories” by Amy Bloom for their first book of 2014. That meeting is on Jan 9.

  • Feb. 13: "Americanah" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichi
  • March 13: "The Good Lord Bird" by James McBride
  • April 10: "Beowulf: A New Verse Translation" by Seamus Heaney 
  • May 8: "The Language of Flowers" by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
  • June 12: "We Need New Names" by NoViolet Bulawayo
