BCCC Breaks Ground on New Science Building
The 34,700 square-foot, two-story project includes 11 science labs and a lecture room. It is expected to be completed by 2016.
Bucks County Community College on Thursday held a ground breaking ceremony for a new science building at the college’s Newtown campus.
The 34,700 square-foot, two-story project includes 11 science labs and a lecture room. It is expected to be completed by 2016.
Bucks County Commissioners Rob Loughery, Charlie Martin and Diane Ellis-Marseglia joined College President Dr. Stephanie Shanblatt and College Board of Trustees Chair Blake Eisenhart for the ceremony.

The building will be the future home of the Biology and Chemistry areas of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Dept.
It will be located adjacent to Founders Hall and will feature a curved two-story glass wall at the entrance, leading into a two-story student commons area with open lounge spaces and rooms for collaboration and study.
