BCCC President Recognized by International Honor Society

Bucks County Community College President James J. Linksz was presented with Phi Theta Kappa's Michael Bennett Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

President James J. Linksz was presented with Phi Theta Kappa’s Michael Bennett Lifetime Achievement Award during the honor society’s annual convention in Nashville, Tenn.

Linksz was one of a dozen college administrators who were honored for providing many years of committed service and support to PTK while promoting the society’s goals and ideals, according to a BCCC press release.

The award, named in honor of the former president of St. Petersburg College in Florida, is presented to retiring college administrators for their exemplary dedication to Phi Theta Kappa. Linksz is retiring this year after two decades as president of Bucks County Community College.

Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society is the largest honor society in American higher education, with 1,280 chapters on two-year and community college campuses in all 50 of the United States, Canada, Germany, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, the British Virgin Islands, the United Arab Emirates, and U.S. territorial possessions.
