Council Rock School District is seeking applicants for school board secretary.
According to an announcement on the district’s website, the board secretary is responsible for taking the official minutes of school board meeting and will also sign contracts, organize documents, issue reports and contribute to the development of each board agenda.
The district is seeking a person with strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and the technological expertise necessary to work with the superintendent to build and maintain the district’s online portal for board documents.

“The candidate should be detail-oriented and understand and comply with all PSBA and confidentiality requirements of the position. Flexibility is important and opportunities for professional growth exist should the job responsibilities evolve,” the announcement said.
The Council Rock Board of School Directors meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month. The board secretary would be required to serve at those two meetings and any other special meeting called by the board.

Candidates should send a letter of interest and a resume to the Council Rock School District, 30 N Chancellor St, to the attention of Ms. Christine Trioli, director of human resources.
Deadline for applications is Oct. 25.
