Council Rock Releases Proposed Calendar for 2012-2013
If the calendar is approved as proposed, the first day of school next year will be Thursday, Sept. 6 for some grades and Sept. 7 for all students.
The Council Rock School District administration released a draft of the 2012-2013 school year calendar at a meeting Thursday.
If the calendar is approved at next month’s board meeting, the first day of school will be Thursday, Sept. 6 for students in kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as those in seventh and ninth grades.

The first day of school for all other students will be Friday, Sept. 7.
Winter break is scheduled to begin Monday, Dec. 24. Classes are scheduled to resume Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.

The last day of school for students would be Monday, June 17, 2013 if no snow days are used. If the allocated snow days are all used, the last day would be Monday, June 24.
