Council Rock Releases Proposed Calendar for 2014-15
If the calendar is approved as proposed, the first day of school next year will be Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The Council Rock School District administration has released a draft of the 2014-2015 school year calendar.
If the calendar is approved as proposed, the first day of school will be Tuesday, Sept. 2 for students in kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as those in seventh and ninth grades.
The first day of school for all other students will be Wednesday, Sept. 3.

Winter break is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Dec. 23. Classes are scheduled to resume Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.
The last day of school for students is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2015. Five snow days are built into the calendar and if not used, will be deducted at the end of the year, according to the document.
