The $198.6 million preliminary budget that passed in the spring predicted a 1.4 percent property tax increase, or $58.52 for the average homeowner. However, increased state funding since that time has eliminated the need for a tax hike.

When the budget process began, Council Rock was facing a $14.2 million budget shortfall.

The Council Rock Education Association and the Council Rock Administrators Association agreed to $1.1 million in salary changes.
