Council Rock Schools are closed again Thursday due to power outages and road closures from Hurricane Sandy.
Council Rock Superintendent Mark Klein confirmed to Patch there would be no school on Thursday.
As 4 p.m. today, eight district schools are without power. "Council Rock’s Network Operation Center in Newtown remains without power and this has affected email, web, and phone service to and from schools," a message from Klein sent to parents said.
The regularly-scheduled meeting of the Council Rock Board of School Directors will be held Thursday 7:30 p.m. at the Chancellor Center. The Academic Standards Committee will meet at 6 p.m. prior to the board meeting.
