Council Rock Speaker Series Wraps Up Wednesday

The final event in a four-part speaker series addressing important issues facing today's youth will be held Wednesday.

Christie Wentz, from Drug Free PA, will present a program called Straight Talk for Parents at 7 p.m. at Richboro Middle School. 

The Raising Great Kids Series has been presented by the Council Rock Coalition for Healthy Youth and Council Rock Education Foundation. It provided insight on how to prepare for and deal with issues including anxiety, Internet safety, bullying and substance abuse.

“These issues are the most critical ones that our students face today,” CRCHY Director Debbie Moskovitz said. 

Wednesday's presentation is free and open to the whole community, not just Council Rock parents. The presentation will include time for a question and answer period.

RSVP to CRCHY@crsd.org; registration is not necessary but encouraged for each event to prepare for refreshments and handouts.
