CR North Among Highest Area SAT Scores

Council Rock North tied for sixth place in a recent analysis of the top 40 scoring public schools in the region.

The average SAT score for students at Council Rock High School North is 1687, making it among the top 10 scoring public schools in the area, according to an analysis by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The publication recently released a list of the 40 highest scoring schools in Southeast Pennsylvania.

Council Rock North tied for sixth place. Central Bucks East and New Hope Solebury also had average scores of 1687.

The maximum SAT score is 2400. The test has three sections worth a possible 800 points each.

The highest ranking school in the region was Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration High School in Philadelphia with an average score of 1898.

Other Bucks County schools that made the list include: Council Rock South (average score of 1627); Central Bucks West (average score of 1647); Central Bucks South (average score of 1613); and Pennsbury (average score of 1536).
