CR North Girls Battle For Powder Puff Title

The Sixth Annual Powder Puff game raised money for the Lauren Kelsey Talbot Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Council Rock North seniors and juniors participated in the Sixth Annual Powder Puff game Monday to raise money for the Lauren Kelsey Talbot Memorial Scholarship Fund. The seniors won the game, which was held at the school's stadium.

Council Rock North 2007 graduates Felicia Pappas and Kelsey Dumont started the event in honor of their friend Lauren, who was a senior at North when she passed away in 2005 after a car accident.

The Lauren Kelsey Talbot Memorial Scholarship fund supports graduating seniors at Council Rock North and South. To date, the memorial fund has provided more than $34,000 in scholarships.
