The Newtown Historic Association will hold a Historic Walking Tour of one of the historic areas of Newtown to be held beginning on Friday, June 8th at 6:30 pm – weather permitting.
The tour will begin at the Half-Moon Inn, Court St. & Centre Ave., Newtown (at the intersection one block east of Starbucks and the Gap) and will be lead by Jeffrey Marshall, Vice President of Resource Protection of the Heritage Conservancy. Mr. Marshall is the author of “Bucks County Barns” and numerous other books regarding Bucks County history. The tour will feature architecturally significant Newtown buildings on Liberty Street and surrounding areas.
Admission is free – come and bring a friend and learn something about Newtown’s interesting buildings and history.
