More Than $7K of Swim Equipment Donated to Council Rock

The Council Rock High School North Swimming and Diving Boosters and the Council Rock Swim Club made the donation, which includes video equipment for taping swimming and an electronic timing system for competitive events.

 

The Council Rock High School North Swimming and Diving Boosters and the Council Rock Swim Club has donated more than $7,000 worth of equipment to the district.

The school board accepted the donation during a meeting Thursday.

Swimmers at both high schools will use the equipment, which includes video equipment for taping and an electronic timing system for competitive events.

  • Diving carpetboard ($163 value)
  • Video equipment for taping swimming ($970 value)
  • Custom-made storage cabinet to store all new timing equipment ($600 value)
  • Rubber kettlebells for team strength and conditioning ($944 value)
  • Omega OCP5 Touchpads for electronic timing of competitive swim events ($4,400 value)

Superintendent Mark Klein said the district gives “sincere thanks” to the Swimming and Diving Boosters and the Council Rock Swim Club for the donations.
