Newtown Elementary PTA to Hold Fundraiser at Winery
Parents Knight Out will be held at Rose Bank Winery on Friday, April 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $45 and include unlimited food, wine, and beer from the new Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company.
The PTA is organizing a “Parents Knight Out” to raise money for a new kindergarten playground.
The event, to take place Friday, April 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. at , will feature food, wine, beer, and live music by Firecracker Betty.
Wine from Rose Bank will be served, as well as beer from the new Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, which just recently began distributing beer from its Croydon location.

Between 15 and 20 restaurants and caterers will be there to participate in the food tasting, said Kellyann Zuzulo, a PTA member who is helping to organize the event. The list includes Colonial Farms Catering, , , , , Joey G’s Gourmet Deli and Catering, Just Food, La Nuova Vita, , , , and .
There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle with a variety of prizes.

Zuzulo said the fundraiser will generate money to build a new kindergarten playground. The current playground is outdated and uninteresting to the children, she explained.
Tickets are $40 a person or $75 per couple and include unlimited food and beverages. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time via check made payable to NEPTA.
