Newtown Resident Receives $1,000 Scholarship

The $1,000 scholarship was awarded to Newtown resident Alaina Lee.

Leo and Marie Craig of Express Employment Professionals, an Trevose-based executive recruiting and human resources firm, recently awarded their fourth annual $1,000 scholarship to Alaina Lee of Newtown, Pa.

“We are so thrilled that this endowed scholarship allows us to help students pursuing degrees at our local community college,” said Leo Craig. “At Express, our ultimate mission it to help people succeed. In our daily business, we do this by helping people find good jobs and helping companies find qualified workers. This scholarship is just one other way we can equip individuals in Bucks Country to build a thriving and rewarding career.” 

The Express Employment Professionals Scholarship is awarded each spring, benefiting a current Bucks County Community College student who majors in a program of study in one of the college’s six academic departments. Applicants must be enrolled at least six credits and possess a minimum 2.5 grade-point average.
