Parents Knight Out

The Newtown Elementary School PTA held a "Parents Knight Out" fundraiser at Rose Bank Winery Friday night to help fund a new kindergarten playground for the school.

More than 150 parents and teachers enjoyed food prepared by local restaurants and caterers, including Colonial Farms Catering, Cosi, Dragon of Newtown, Duck Sauce, Green Parrot, Joey G’s Gourmet Deli and Catering, Just Food, La Nuova Vita, Palate, Piccolo Trattoria, The Temperance House, and Vecchia Osteria.

There was, of course, wine from Rose Bank. The beer served was from the new Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, which just recently began distributing beer from its Croydon location. For entertainment, there was live music and a silent auction.
