Budget, Per Capita Tax Elimination on Thursday School Board Agenda

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Chancellor Center.

The Council Rock School Board will consider a final budget for 2014-15 on Thursday. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Chancellor Center.

School officials have presented a $214 million draft budget that, if passed as is, would increase taxes by about $40 for the average district resident. The draft budget includes an approximately one percent tax increase, which falls under the 2.1 percent cap as mandated by state law.
