Lunch Prices on the Menu Thursday
The Council Rock School District Administration is recommending that lunch prices remain at $2.75 and middle school prices will likely remain at $3.25.

Elementary school lunch prices will likely remain at $2.75 and middle school prices will likely remain at $3.25. The Council Rock School Board is expected to approve the prices, which are recommended by the district administration, at a meeting Thursday.
Council Rock uses Chartwells Food Service as its lunch provider.

School lunch prices increased this year because of new mandates requiring certain healthy components be served with each meal.
From 2011-2012 to this school year, elementary school lunches went up from $2.55 to $2.75 and middle school lunches increased by a quarter, from $3 to $3.25. The high schools have a la carte menus.
