School Board to Discuss Preliminary Budget Thursday

A draft budget posted to the district's website in late March shows appropriations of $216.2 million for 2014-2015. That is an increase of $8.7 million over 2013-2014.
The majority of that increase—$5.4 million—is due to the increasing obligation the district has towards the Pennsylvania School Employees Retirement System, or PSERS, figures posted to the website indicate.
