Test Drive a Car, Raise $20 for the Local Marching Band

Bill Marsh Ford and Council Rock High School North Band Parents Association are partnering for the 'Drive 4 UR School' fundraiser at Council Rock High School North on Saturday.

Looking for a new car or just want to help out the local marching band?

You can do both this Saturday, when Bill Marsh Ford and Council Rock High School North Band Parents Association partner for the “Drive 4 UR School” fundraiser at Council Rock High School North.

Come to the school between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., test drive a car and the band gets $20 for each test drive, explained parent Julie Lambert. “It is that easy,” she said.

The goal is to raise as much as $6,000 in support of the marching band, which performs throughout the community during holiday parades and, of course, during local football games.

“As a business in our community, we understand just how hard it is to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us,” said Herb Spies, who is sales manager at Bill Marsh. He noted the fundraiser is supported by Ford Motor Company.
