When did your business get started?
We just celebrated our 17th anniversary in Newtown.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?
We chose Newtown because it was a growing community that did not have a dedicated supplement store. We filled a need.

What is your business best known for?
Our store is best known for our large selection of national brand vitamins, minerals, herbs and sports nutrition products. We have a knowledgeable sales staff that is eager to help the residents of this community achieve their health and fitness goals.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
Our sales staff is briefed daily on interesting studies on supplements from Europe, Australia and the United States. We have our own ongoing continuing education programs on the science behind the supplements. This makes for an educated sales staff which, in this field, is extremely important to our consumer.

Does your business offer a special deals card or program?
We offer an everyday discount card called the Gold Card. This card is purchased by the customer for $15 annually. The day they sign up for the card, they save an average of 20 percent on their purchases that day to offset the cost of the card. Then for a full year, the customer enjoys between a 10 percent and 50 percent discount on all their purchases every day. The average discount is 20 percent but can be higher or lower depending on the product mix.
