Council Rock North Takes Second Place in Districts
Council Rock North Boys lose to Chester High Friday, 66-43.
Council Rock North Boys Basketball lost to Chester High School in the final round of Districts last night, taking second place overall. The final score was 66-43.
The game, which was played at Villanova University, started neck and neck with Council Rock trailing by one point at the end of the first quarter, and down by just three points at the end of the first half.
At the beginning of the second half, Chester's Maurice Nelson, whose brother Jameer Nelson plays for the Orlando Magic, scored three back to back three-pointers, giving Chester the momtentum to eventually claim the win.
