Tri-Township Baseball Helps Bucks County Beat Mercer County

The Bucks County team beat Mercer County by 4 points.

Bucks County Babe Ruth Baseball defeated Mercer County Babe Ruth baseball on Friday, August 24 by a score 4-0.

When asked about the game, manager Ken Hone could not say enough the team.  "The young men were given an opportunity to compete at the highest level in a professional stadium and they let no-one down."

"Each young man deserved the chance to pitch, and when given the opportunity they proved me right when they shut out the best baseball players from Mercer County,"Hone said of his choice to utilize 10 pitchers.

Hone was proud, of course, because 3 of the shut out pitchers, Tyler Hone, Jarryd Goldstein, and Alex Bariaharis, were from his Tri-Township team.

The Bucks County Baseball Roster and Coaches were:  Tri-Township Coach and Manager Ken Hone, Tri-Township Tyler Hone, Tri-Township Andrew Woodruff, Tri-Township Matt Mazza, Tri-Township Jarryd Goldstein, Tri-Township Alex Bariahtaris, Tri-Township Peter Oline, Pennsbury Coach John Baionno, Brody McFadden, Matt Kaiser, Anthony Baionno,  Mike Newton, Jacob Wachspress, Luke Kowal, Tyler Cohen,  Coach Ken Pleger, Sam Pfleger, Mike Walley, Matt Hand, Joseph Michelin,  Bensalem Coach Gregg Puskar, Brandon Wermuth,  Sean Hayes, Shawn Puskar, Billy Kohler.
