Newtown's First Fourth fireworks, which were scheduled for last night, were postponed due to a severe thunderstorm warning. The fireworks will instead be held tonight.

A National Weather Service thunderstorm warning that included Bucks County and called for severe wind and hail prompted organizers to postpone the show. First Fourth committee member Paul Salvatore confirmed the cancellation just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday

Tonight's fireworks will be held at starting between 9 and 9:30 p.m. All parking will be at . From there, attendees can walk down Green Road, which will be closed to traffic. There will also be a shuttle.
