Borough Solicitor Honored by A Woman's Place

Bill Bolla was recently honored by the nonprofit organization for more than 30 years of donated legal services.

Bill Bolla, who serves as Newtown Borough's solicitor, was recently honored by the Board of Directors of A Woman's Place for more than 30 years of donated legal services. 

Bolla, a partner in the law firm of McNamara, Bolla & Panzer of Doylestown, served on A Woman's Place Board of Directors from 1976-1983. He served as counsel for the nonprofit organization until December 31, 2011. 

“Community service is a responsibility," Bolla said in a press release.  “My colleagues and I are active in the communities in which we live and work. A Woman’s Place is an amazing organization that I am proud to have worked with for the last 30 years. They have made a tremendous impact upon the lives of thousands of women.”

A Woman’s Place is a Bucks County nonprofit that provides support services for domestic abuse victims and their children. Services include a free 24-hour confidential hotline, a shelter, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and a children’s program.
