Don't Forget: Shir Ami Run For Food Is Sunday

The race benefits the Penndel Food Pantry.

This Sunday starting at 9 a.m., Shir Ami Synagogue will host its first-ever “Run for Food.” The race will take place at Tyler State Park.

The event includes a 5K and a one-mile fun run/walk.  All proceeds from the event will go to support the Penndel Food Pantry.

Organizer Stacie Mishler said Shir Ami wanted to give back to the community. After learning about the statistics of those in need locally, the synagogue thought the race would be a good way to help those that cannot afford to feed their families.
