Local Resident Recognized by American Cancer Society

Borough resident Len Kudgis received the American Cancer Society's "Volunteer Shining Star" award in recognition of his work and commitment to fight cancer in the community.

Newtown Borough resident Len Kudgis was honored by The Central New Jersey Unit of the American Cancer Society during the organization’s 25th Annual “Celebration of Life” Gala, held April 28 at the Westin Princeton.

Kudgis received the American Cancer Society’s “Volunteer Shining Star” award in recognition of his work and commitment to fight cancer in the community. He is the director of marketing and communications at Horizon NJ Health in West Trenton, N.J. 

Kudgis serves on numerous community health committees and partnerships in New Jersey. He is a member of the Trenton Crusade Against Cancer and currently serves as President of the St. Francis Medical Center’s Community Fund Raising Council.
