Newtown Office Supply Launches Recycling Campaign for Charity

Donate any brand of used ink cartridges through Sept. 30 and all proceeds will benefit the YWCA Bucks County.

Newtown Office Supply is spearheading an ink cartridge recycling campaign that will benefit the YWCA Bucks County.

The office supply store has launched the “Support our Communities Thru Recycling Toner Cartridges” campaign. You can help by donating your used ink cartridges to two drop off sites, or even arrange for a free pickup.

All proceeds from the recycled ink and laser toner cartridges will be donated to the YWCA to help support the approximately 40 educational enrichment and social services programs it provides to underserved children, women and families in Bucks County.

“We are deeply appreciative of Newtown Office Supply and its owners, David Wickman and Norman White, for their belief in and support of the many things the YWCA does each day to make lives better for our less fortunate friends and neighbors in the community,” said Catherine Behrmann, chief operating officer of YWCA Bucks County.

Funds raised through the “Support our Communities Thru Recycling Toner Cartridges” campaign will go directly into program and service enhancements that will benefit thousands of children, women and families, Behrmann said.

“It’s community-minded and caring partners like Newtown Office Supply that play such an important role in helping to build a stronger, better Bucks County,” Behrmann said.

Cartridges will be collected until Sept. 30. Companies and organizations scheduling complimentary pick up of their cartridges should make arrangements before that date, campaign organizers said.
