Scouts Lay Wreaths at Washington Crossing Cemetery

More than 3,000 wreaths were placed in solemn remembrance of those who served our country.

By James Boyle:

On Saturday, the boys from Cub Scout Pack 200 and Boy Scout Troop 200 of Warminster braved the snow and chilly temperatures in the twenties to lay wreaths at the sites of those veterans buried at the National Cemetery at Washington’s Crossing.

Along with other civic groups and volunteers, more than 3,000 wreaths were placed in solemn remembrance of those who served our country. This is the eighth year of Wreaths Across America, a nationwide program which distributes holiday wreaths as a tribute to veterans laid to rest at national cemeteries and state veterans cemeteries.
