Share The Harvest Begins at Carousel Village

Area nonprofit helps collect fresh produce to distribute to those in need.

Do you know a local gardener who has some extra zuccini or too many tomatoes?

Philabundance, the region's largest hunger relief organization, is now accepting produce donations though its Share the Harvest program. Donations are accepted Saturdays at Carousel Gardens off Durham Road and Seasons Garden Center in Washington Crossing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. until Sept. 24.

The produce collected goes to help feed the hungry in five area counties, including Bucks.
