College Fair, Voter Registration Deadline: Week Ahead
A look at the week ahead in Newtown.
MONDAY
Monday is the deadline to register to vote for school board members and other local officials in theNovember 5 municipal election. The Bucks County Board of Elections has registration forms available at the following three locations:
- Bucks County Courthouse, 55 East Court St. (2nd Floor), Doylestown, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Lower Bucks Government Services Center, 7321 New Falls Road, Levittown, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
- Upper Bucks Government Services Center, 261 California Road, Quakertown, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Newtown Borough Council will meet at 7 p.m. at the Chancellor Center.
Newtown Township's Financial Planning Committee has cancelled the meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday.
WEDNESDAY
The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
THURSDAY
Bucks County Community College is hosting a College Fair at its Newtown Campus. The fair, which will feature 200 colleges and universities, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
