Music in the Park, Natural Foods Store to Open: Week Ahead
A look at the week ahead in Newtown.
TUESDAY
- Newtown Business Association's member breakfast event is Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. at Chandler Hall. The speaker will be Daniel J. Loeper, who is director of business development at Bucks County Community College. Online Registration for the event will closes at noon Monday.
- Tuesday is Back to School Night at Council Rock North.
- The Wrightstown Village Library has toddler and preschool story times on Wednesday. The toddler story time begins at 10 a.m. and the preschool story time starts at 10:30 a.m. The event is free. Click here to register.
- The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors will have a meeting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the township Municipal Building.
- Are you a single, divorced, or widowed man? Newtown Township Parks and Recreation is hosting a men's dating workshop. A dating coach will be present at the seminar, scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. The fee is $30 for residents.
- Music in the Park hosted by the Borough’s Recreation Board, will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Linton Memorial Park. The event is free and open to the public.
- The annual Newtown Grant Garage Sale is Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will also feature an electronics recycling drive to raise money for local schools.
- Organnon's Natural Market will open for business Saturday. A grand opening celebration is planned for that day.
- Bucks County's eighth annual Pandemic Flu Drill is Saturday at Holland Middle School, 400 East Holland Road, Holland. Residents can get a free seasonal flu shot 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
