Swim Club Development to be Reviewed, Movies in the Park Continues

Here are five things we thought you should know about the week ahead in Newtown:

• The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors is scheduled to review plans for a townhome development at the Newtown Swim Club during a meeting Wednesday beginning at 7:30 p.m. Click here for details. 
• Movies in the Park continues Wednesday with a screening of The 'Burbs at Linton Memorial Park. Live music starts around 8 p.m. and the movies begin at dark.
• Did you know you can try the Y for free on Tuesdays? The Tri-Hampton YMCA is located in Newtown. Click here for information on how to try it for free on Tuesdays. 
• Catch some live music Thursday at the Temperance House, where 
  Marc MacManus will perform at 7:30 p.m.
• Newtown Township's Environmental Advisory Council will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the township Administration Building.
