Forecast Looks Good for Friday's Music In The Park
The annual event kicks off at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Newtown’s Music in the Park event, hosted by the Borough’s Recreation Board, will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Linton Memorial Park. The event is free and open to the public.
The forecast as of Wednesday evening looks perfect for the event. According to weather.com, Friday will be partly cloudy with zero chance of rain and temperatures in the low 70s.
Local musician Matt Dorsey will kick off the evening. He will be followed by The Stimulus Package Band, an acoustic trio playing classic and modern rock. Plush, a local favorite, will close out the evening.
