Halloween Art Scene, Library 5K and Pumpkinfest at Isaac's

What: Artists will be painting shop windows in Newtown, plus there will be a cupcake contest
When/where: Saturday, Oct. 19 at 9 a.m. throughout downtown Newtown

What: Support the Newtown Library Company and run its annual 5K. There will also be a one-mile fun run.
When/where: Saturday at 8:30 a.m. beginning at the Chancellor Center.
Cost: $25 for the 5K; $15 for the fun run.
What: Bucks County Community College is hosting an open house for prospective students and their parents.
When/where: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What: Taste a variety of pumpkin ales and vote on your favorites.
When/where: Saturday at noon at Isaac Newton's
Cost: Beer prices vary
What: The annual event features pumpkin carving, games, food and more. CB Cares Educational Foundation is hosting Pumpkinfest in partnership with the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation
When/where: Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, 130 E Swamp Rd., Doylestown
Cost: $20 per car.
