Music in the Park, Big Garage Sale, Chinese Acrobats at BCCC

What: Newtown’s Music in the Park event, hosted by the Borough’s Recreation Board.

When/where: Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Linton Memorial Park.

NEWTOWN GRANT GARAGE SALE

What: The annual Newtown Grant Garage Sale will feature everything from clothing to children’s toys, furniture, household items, electronics and more.

When/where: Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the neighborhood’s community center parking lot, 51 Marigold Drive. Entrances to Newtown Grant are located on Durham and Eagle roads.

Cost: Items vary; off-street parking is $1 

DOG DADDY FEST

What: Dog-friendly event to support local rescues. Festivities will include live music, food, dog-related vendors, dog-friendly hayrides, pet parades, face painting, a Doggie Fun Zone, adoptable animals and more.

When/where: Saturday and Sunday at Thorpe Farm, 371 Stoneybrook Road.

Cost: $5, children 10 and under are free

BIKE THE BASIN

What: The event features a children’s bike challenge course and group rides. In addition there is face painting, balloon animals, cupcake decorating, raffles, auctions and more. All proceeds benefit the Bucks County based Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation.Register online at www.bikethebasin.org

When/where: Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the Northampton Civic Center, 451 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro.

Cost: $20 per child

CHINESE GOLDEN DRAGON ACROBATS

What: The Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats return to Bucks County Community College for two performances.

When: Sunday at 2 and 5 p.m. at Bucks County Community College

Cost: $24.50 for adults; $15 for students, seniors and children
