Newtown Grant Garage Sale is Saturday
Sale organizer said he expects a "great turnout."
Calling all bargain hunters: we know where you need to be Saturday.
The annual Newtown Grant Garage Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day at the neighborhood’s community center parking lot, 51 Marigold Drive. Entrances to Newtown Grant are located on Durham and Eagle roads
“We are expecting a great turnout. Right now we have 135 people selling items,” sale organizer Brandon Wind said. Sellers will offer everything from clothing to children’s toys, furniture, household items, electronics and more.

Additionally, the boy scouts will be selling food and there will be a small electronics recycling drive to benefit local schools.
There will be $1 off street parking; free parking is also available on public streets. Be careful if you park on Eagle Road; police will ticket cars that are partially on the roadway.
