I went today and had a cup of chicken noodle soup which tasted like nothing and at $3.99 a cup that was filled 1/2 way I could of went to the supermarket and bought a can of campbells chicken noodle soup for less than a dollar a alot more and alot more taste taste. It was disgusting! What a rip-off.

Feel like the place deserves a better review than the single star it received from JR. Have been there several times to meet clients. The restaurant is clean, open, and a nice environment for conversation (not too noisy or distracting).
I had one of the thin panini sandwiches - thought it was quite good and exactly as advertised. Clients have enjoyed salads and sandwiches. The menu offers a lot of healthy choices; calorie content is posted; service has been efficient and helpful.
Newtown doesn't really need more eateries, but the Corner Bakery seems like it will take the place of Goodnoe in serving as the town "Diner," but with reliable WiFi (Cosi's WiFi is unreliable). I say welcome to "the 'hood," Corner Bakery and kudos on your successful opening!
Went their tonight for the second time. I had been once before for breakfast, when it took 10 minutes for them to make a simple sandwich. I had Mac and Cheese tonight. It was just plain bad. It seemed like it was overcooked, and had sat all day. It was served barely hot. Luckily, I accidentally ordered a Cafe sized salad instead of a side salad, so I didn't go home starving. I asked to add a salad, assuming I would be adding the side salad, but the cashier asked if I wanted the entree or cafe salad. I had no clue so I ordered the one that was smaller. The cinnamon cake was dry. My dad had the Penne Marinara, which was ordered as entree sized, and filled less than half of the bowl. He said the salad dressing for the garden salad was disgusting, but he did at least get the size he wanted.

My company got a catered lunch from here once before and the food was very good. So, I went for lunch today and ordered a sandwich combo with mac and cheese and my co-worker got a salad and sandwich. We get back to the office and they did not give me my sandwich but instead gave me a salad. My co-workers sandwich did not have the mayo or avacado on it. They were not even busy, we were the only ones in line.
