Nasty bully of a manager. Newtown deserves better. Go elsewhere. I'd rather drive a messy car than go back to this place.

The manager Mike gave me a hard time when I pointed out to him the scratches on the outside and INSIDE of my SUV. He got in my face (I'm 5'1", about 120 pounds) and yelled at me, "Your'e just trying to get a free car wash! No, I was pointing out that the inside crew man had sprayed the wrong liquid on my console, which damaged the finish. Plus, the outside guys had used the brooms/brushes on the sides of my vehicle, disregarding what I had said earlier about not using those. I felt so bullied but the guy looked like he would hit me if I furthered the conversation so I left. Newtown needs a good carwash, I'd settle for a drive thru one. Unless you don't care what happens to your car, go elsewhere.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FRUSTRATION. Trust us, you will end up spending more money to repair the damage to your car. Our car ended up with scatches and damage to both sides of our new SUV. Markings were the same height on both sides of the car. The manager blew us off and said it wasn't their fault and dared us to call the police. We took that dare and raised them a civil suit. We are now pursuing legal action for the $1000 worth of damage the did. Apparently we are the not the first to have damage done to our car....see the article in Newtown Patch from this August on another incident. Please drive to another car wash or wash at home....the minor hassle will save you major hassle in the long run!

They are sloppy. They open the door while it's in the car wash and water gets in your car. The manager is a nasty individual. The problem is they have no competition and Newtown is a nice area with a lot of nice cars (and owners who like them clean). Go somewhere else if you can.
