Has the author worked for the FBI CIA DEA ATF as in American with the government's involvement inRead More the arts and letters I think that is a good question to understand if they achieved their success based on their ability or were hampered because the government promoted them/him or others. Why is it that authors like Joseph Brodsky were made Poet Laureate in the US and not this or other authors. American art and literature has come into question due to abusive government involvement which should be fully investigated.

As someone who has sponsored the showing of "It's A Wonderful Life" for years as a gift toRead More my wife and our community and seeing the joy this and all the Christmas movies brought and meant to so many - it is extremely sad that we will not have those this year. Seems like Scrooge hs come to Newtown. The whole story someday hopefully will come out as this is a huge blow to Newtown and our surrounding area … Le Sheppard

I'd love to see the movie theatre focus on indie & foreign movies as the Doylestown CountyRead More Theatre does. Any chance of this?
Harry November 3, 2013 at 07:59 am
In my opinion movies should not be the focus, yes it's cute to see one in an old movie house butRead More hard to beat the mega-plexes for the quality and comfort. The focus should be the arts - plays, concerts, comedy etc. Need management that is hip to current acts. See the Sellersville Theater, similar venue but in a remote area that kicks ass with top acts all the time. This would format would be a goldmine to the theater and the town as well.
