Although I'm rather annoyed that the pool is not open and we do not have an exact target date, I do…Read More find it a gross generality to make the assumptions of
"Had the project been built using union labor, it would be finished and open for the summer season. They don't tell you the real reason the project is delayed. It's because of all the mistakes and the re-work done behind the child-labor and undocumented workers building the place. Yeah but that's right, blame it on the rain. I'm tired of people using the Patch comments section to criticize people personally. I don't really…Read More understand what you gain by posting those comments about a member of our community who has given thousands of hours of his own time (and money, in past years when he could afford it) to various Newtown organizations, most of this with no recognition at all. If you enjoy the Christmas tree in the borough every year, thank Dave, without him it would not be there. Same for the Santa house. Sorry if you don't think he's the greatest, but there are many of us who do, and with good reason, not some petty personal problem. Since I share your first name, I wanted to make sure no one thinks I posted your comments about Mr. Callahan, who continues his work in the community...
