Comcast mafia blocks every Phillies game on Direct tv and I pay extra for the MLB package. Take aRead More trip to Camden Yards. It's a beautiful stadium with charming people, Hon! Stay at the Hilton overlooking Camden Yards. We're O's and Ravens fans since Comcast blocks all local sports if you don't choose them.

Overpayed bunch of louts in those teams and many are proving thmselves to be so by theirRead More inabilities. I stopped going to sports games after I and my daughter got a beer shower by a drunk from an upper level and nothing was done... None of my "earned" money for their betting parlor...

When taxes are imposed on various industries then to stay in business the prices increase on theRead More consumer! Obamacare , gas taxes, payroll taxes, tolls, the proposed soda and candy tax , your tobacco tax is 75% of what the product really costs! Commercial Property tax increases! Do you people see what's going on here? This country is being destroyed by the Democrats! It is starting to resemble The a Soviet Union! We should change the name of this country to the USSA!

And all this time i thought it was Pork Barrel spending.

Mark, Your words are absolutely disgusting. Please do not use this comment thread as a vehicle toRead More spew your racist mentality. And for your information, food-borne illnesses come from agriculture, period. All around the world, including in the U.S. Lastly, your hatred for people of colour does not mean that you understand disease, at all. Good luck in life.

the truth is a dope April 16, 2014 at 04:03 pm
all joking aside, the truth IS a dope!
The Truth April 16, 2014 at 04:18 pm
Did you get your free coffee today DOPE? Its free so that falls right in your pricing level. HopeRead More you didn't spill it on your crotch and hurt yourself. We wouldn't want to be deprived of yet another generation of your degenerate family running around calling people dopes...

Next year you might want to NOT plan this event during Passover. I'm Jewish as I'm sure manyRead More residents of Newtown both the borough and the township are. By planning this event during Passover you have locked me and any other Jewish people who do observe Passover out of joining in. Larry Shapiro

Yes but capitalism does not work that way, governments do not decide what/where businesses go (atRead More least not yet anyway, give them time...) BTW we have 2 here in Lansdale lol!

But I had been to Antonio's several times and the food was always great so hopefully he can turnRead More things around there...
NorthFaceBmwNewtown April 9, 2014 at 11:33 am
Hope it gets better. Good was terrible twice for us. Also, service was really not welcoming, thoughRead More that seems to be typical at some of the more venerable “newtown” places where the waitstaff is snobbish, and they know that the NorthFaceBrigades will keep eating at their restaurant because they’re too cool for chains. After 1 year…. we’ve all but stopped patronizing Newtown restaurants. Notable exceptions: Vecchia Osteria. Oishi. Even those places don’t have service that’s as good as the average chain restaurant…but food is excellent and service is ‘good’ so oh well. Mostly we drive to Lawrenceville area now in NJ. 20 minute drive, no biggie. Of course, I’ll do Chick Fil A and Wendys in Newtown anytime .

Hopefully the food will improve as it has always been horrible. Now they just need to work onRead More service while they are at it.
Becky Betz April 7, 2014 at 02:53 pm
Did they get a liquor license?
Harry April 8, 2014 at 08:10 am

Jim Worthington April 9, 2014 at 03:09 pm
Great family , great food . Best of luck to them .
Jay April 1, 2014 at 05:59 pm
That's great news! I thought that someone said that the Supervisors were lying about AnthropologieRead More coming to Newtown. We were all warned that it was a political hoax. What happened???
Leyla Mastromarco Capitelli April 2, 2014 at 12:35 pm
Are all five retails spaces already contracted? And if so, do we know with whom?

Apple store would be nice. I'm sure there are a lot of family's that have Mac Pro, Ipad, Ipods thatRead More they need accessories or repairs.
Comcast is starting to offer electricity in Pennsylvania. (Patch file photo)

I don' t have an issue with PECO, it's PGW who's the thief.
John DiPrimio March 13, 2014 at 05:12 pm
why would you begrudge a poor family like the Roberts from earning a living? If they can buy theRead More water co, and gas co. just think how simple they will make our lives, just paying one bill for everything, and they can send out the same inept service tech to handle all the repairs, between 8 & 12 or 12 & 5. There ought to be a law.
Margaret French March 14, 2014 at 11:18 am
I dropped them YEARS ago when they only had cable. As soon as some other option was available I gotRead More the competitor. No way would I ever get Comcast and I know a lot of folks who switched from the to Verizon like I did. Like someone else said, if they were the last place to supply electric I would buy solar panels.
Parx Casino in Bensalem, where slots revenue was down 9.4 percent in February. (Patch file photo)
MikeS-FCG March 7, 2014 at 01:21 pm
Wait, you're telling me that they're making many millions of dollars and that they simply made a bitRead More less last month? They still made a profit! Tell you what, report something when they start LOSING money, which will never happen, right? I find it difficult to worry about this since the money doesn't appear to be filtering back to any of the citizens, is it??
dwayne roberson March 7, 2014 at 05:40 pm
PA's new gas tax will have us next to California as the highest. Food, fuel, everything will costRead More more. Owebamacare taxes falling in line, higher insurance costs, inflation,.... people will have less and less. Slots were a good investment? Really? People need jobs, not slot machines when they don't have any freakin money! How do casinos function in socialist states? I guess we'll see.
Capt. Obvious March 10, 2014 at 12:39 pm
probably just starting the "poor us" publicity so that next year they can file bankruptcyRead More and screw everyone they owe, Trump style, and then come back with a new name a few months later and start over debt free.
