This is such nonsense. How many thousands of running races, big and small, are held around theRead More country every year where attendees have backpacks and nothing ever happens. Then there's one incident where a bomb was in a backpack and everyone hyper-reacts. Women are going to have to get used to just carrying wallets around like men, because it's easy to predict the first shopping mall to ban purses 'in the name of safety'.

Recession? Headed for another depression? Technically we climbed out of the recession in 2009Read More although conditions were tough for year and later in 2010 the economy returned to normal operating capacity.

Oh stop with the over dramatization of things regarding bags. My god the event is not just likeRead More many of the other races around the country. It's much more compact then Boston and has more participants. What a bunch of whiners.
Brando Monium April 24, 2013 at 03:12 pm
Am I reading this correctly? If I run it will cost me $20 but only $2 will actually make it toRead More Boston?
Kara Seymour (Editor) April 24, 2013 at 04:31 pm
yes, that is correct. I believe the race was planned before the incident in Boston, so the decisionRead More to also support One Fund Boston is recent

For all you soccer moms out there, kids who play soccer can sustain just as much brain changes asRead More football players. My son participated in the IMPACT STUDY Program run by UPMC when we lived in Pittsburgh. He developed concussion syndrome his senior year playing football. I remarked to the doctor I guess soccer moms are right and I should have made him play soccer instead. The doctor said they see just as many significant changes in children's brains from soccer as they do football.

What's with item #5? This is not the first time that siblings have played against each other. I'mRead More sure you're missing something.

Easy one for me.... rooting for the 49ers....besides chicago bears, it was my grampa's favoriteRead More team. Plus my wife is a steelers fan, so rooting for the ravens is not acceptable :)

I think the new colors are much better.... Kelly green seems kinda whimpy!
2013 February 3, 2013 at 12:00 am
I agree with Brett, the Kelly Green Era WAS dissapointing !
JEFFREY February 3, 2013 at 02:45 am
Who the heck cares? As long as it's green, it's ok with Philadelphia fans. I don't know why theyRead More changed it in the first place-probably giving business to a friend. You know, as in nepotism.

I gotta do a better job, week in and week out.Jimmy Johnson was the backbone of the eagles.when heRead More passed so did the eagles. The win record belongs to Johnson not ( we gotta do abetter job ) Reid. Kansas won't make the playoffs in the next three years.

My prediction: That candy-apple-red Chiefs apparel is going to be less than flattering on Andy.
Marybeth Monaghan January 26, 2013 at 05:12 am
How about if we give Andy Reid a chance? he is no longer in Philly...why would you attack him? IRead More wish he and his family a wonderful new adventure and all the best.

My responses to se of Daryl's comments were also deleted, I think they had to delete the thread weRead More responded to when they deleted his comments. The ones where I responded directly to his statements were deleted. I think yours were on the same thread. I think we also lost a Patch editor's comment as well as one from the author of the article.
