Neshaminy High School won first place in the radio station's Christmas Choir Competition for its version of "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas."
Council Rock North's Master Singers have earned third place in B101’s Christmas Choir Competition, the radio station announced this morning. The third place prize is $1,000. Neshaminy High School won first place for its version of "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas." The grand prize is a chance to sing with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops during a concert on Dec. 19 and a new Cunningham Grand Piano. Upper Merion High School got second place, winning $2,000, for its rendition of "Slow Dancing in the Snow. Click here to listen to all three winning songs. Council Rock North has won the semi-finals of B101’s Christmas Choir Competition, the radio station announced this morning. The school's choir beat out the competition with its rendition of "Deck the Halls" during Wednesday's semi-finals. And now you can help them go all the way and win the grand prize -- a chance to sing with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops during a concert on Dec. 19 and a new Cunningham Grand Piano.
