Barre 3, a chain of fitness studios that combines ballet with yoga and pilates, is seeking to set up a Newtown location. The Planning Commission tonight will hear details about the proposal to put a fitness studio in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the township Administration Building. Barre 3 will need zoning relief from the township to open the fitness studio in a 2,360 square foot foot space in the shopping center. According to its website, Barre 3 workouts combine "dynamic movement and isometric holds" to "transform the body and develop long term postural benefits."
