Find the cheapest gas in Newtown.

After several weeks of a downward trend, the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Pennsylvania is $3.533, up 4.2 cents from a week ago. This rise, however, is less than half of the nearly 14-cent increase during the same period last year, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report. The national average price of a gallon of self-serve regular is $3.364, up 5.4 cents, while the average locally is $3.492. In Newtown, the cheapest price for regular is $3.69 at Kerrigan's Sunoco. Gas Prices Rise Slightly in New Year

Find the cheapest gas in Newtown.

The average price of self-serve regular in Bucks and Montgomery rose about 2.1 cents since last week, which is still 13.3 cents lower than last month but 12.6 cents higher than last year, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report. The price per gallon nationally is also up – by about 4.4 cents – since last week. The national average price of gasoline in 2012 was $3.60 a gallon, which was the most expensive annual average on record. The previous annual record was $3.51 a gallon set in 2011, while the third most expensive year for gas prices was 2008, when the average was $3.25 a gallon. While the “fiscal cliff” deal in Washington could pressure gasoline prices higher to begin 2013, it is unlikely that this increase would be on par with a year …

In the Bucks and Montgomery Counties, the average price of a gallon is $3.601, which is 3.5 cents lower than a week ago, 9.7 cents lower than a month ago and 24.7 cents higher than a year ago. AAA: Gas Prices Could Drop 50 Cents by Year’s End

Find the cheapest gas in Newtown.

Gas prices dropped, on average, 1.5 cents in Pennsylvania and 1.1 cents in Bucks and Montgomery Counties from a week ago, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report. The average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.685, down 22.4 cents from a month ago and 21.7 cents higher than a year ago. After Hurricane Sandy, there continues to be a distribution problem and not a systemic issue with gasoline supplies in New York and New Jersey.  There is plenty of gasoline ready to make its way to stations, but it has to get there first.  Once this distribution gets fully back online, AAA expects pump prices in affected areas to follow the rest of the country lower. AAA predicts that the national average price will be $3.25 to $3.40 by Thanksgiving and $3.10 …

Gas Prices Drop Ever So Slightly

Find the cheapest gas in Newtown.

The see-saw gas prices saw an overall 3.5-cent increase in the United States last week, but a very slight drop locally, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report. In the Bucks and Montgomery Counties, the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline is $3.927 per gallon, which is .2 cents lower from a week ago, 7.9 cents higher than a month ago and 44.4 cents higher than a year ago. This skewing of national prices started last week in California, the report states, when the average price for a gallon in that state hit $4.671. Low supplies, plus a power outage at an Exxon refinery prevented it from producing gas, caused that nearly 50-cent hike. Crude oil prices, however, continues to drop as global demand weakens. Locally, the …
