Local Republicans Introduce Endorsed Ticket

Supervisor Mike Gallagher, Supervisor candidate Kyle Davis, tax collector Tammy Sutton, auditor candidate Dick Weaver and School Board Candidate Kyle McKessy are the endorsed Republican candidates.

Republicans in Newtown Township have endorsed a slate of candidates for local office that they say will continue bringing “fiscally conservative, good government to Newtown.” Supervisor Mike Gallagher, Supervisor candidate Kyle Davis, tax collector Tammy Sutton, auditor candidate Dick Weaver and School Board Candidate Kyle McKessy were endorsed by the local Republican committee.   “This is the team voters can trust to continue bringing fiscally conservative, good government to Newtown,” Republican committee member Mick Petrucci said. Newtown Republicans Endorse Candidates for 2013 Election

The local Republican Committee has endorsed incumbent Mike Gallagher and Kyle Davis for the two open seats on the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors.

The Newtown Township Republican Committee has endorsed a slate of candidates for the 2013 election. The local Republican Committee has endorsed incumbent Mike Gallagher and Kyle Davis for the two open seats on the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors. Davis is a software engineer who currently serves on the township Technology Committee. He is the vice chairman of Greater Newtown Republican Club.  Rob Ciervo, whose term is up at the end of 2013, is not running for reelection. Bucks County Preparing for Political Limelight

Mitt Romney will hold a rally at Shady Brook Farm Sunday, just two days before the presidential election.

Bucks County is preparing to be in the political limelight just two days before the presidential election. Mitt Romney announced Thursday that he will hold a rally at Shady Brook Farm in Lower Makefield Township. It’s the latest indication that Romney believes he has a shot to win Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes on Nov. 6. Shady Brook Farm General Manager Dave Fleming said the whole thing happened “very quickly.” He said the Romney campaign approached him two days ago inquiring if the farm would be available for a rally.  Fleming agreed and Shady Brook was added to a list of six locations being considered for the Philadelphia-area rally. Local Audience Says Romney Gives Hope

Find out what Mitt Romney supporters from around the Delaware Valley thought of the Republican presidential candidate's speech at Valley Forge Military Academy & College.

The economy, jobs, military, foreign policy and education were just some of the issues concerning former Gov. Mitt Romney's supporters who came to hear the candidate speak Friday at Valley Forge Military Academy and College.  Wendy Neininger of Willistown Township, a registered Democrat, is supporting Romney. In 2008, Neininger supported Hillary Clinton, but when Clinton lost the Democratic primary to President Barack Obama, Neininger changed her allegiance. Now, she volunteers at the Romney Victory Office in West Chester.  Neininger is concerned about the job market and said college students are scared about the future. “It’s not just the older workers who can’t find jobs; it’s the younger workers too,” she said.
