Families Enjoy Outdoor Movies In the Park
Every Tuesday until Aug. 9, there is music and a free movie at Linton Memorial Park beginning at 8 p.m.
Families gathered for Movies in the Park Tuesday at Linton Memorial Park. The free movie series is sponsored each week by Newtown Borough Parks and Recreation. This week, band The End of America performed before "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" was shown. Movies are screened Tuesday evenings at 8:30 p.m. until Aug. 9. In the event of rain on a Tuesday, films will be screened Thursday. There is also pre-film music performed by a variety of local artists.
