More Burglaries Reported in Newtown Township
A home on Liberty Drive was burglarized Monday and police believe thieves attempted to gain entry into a home on Bayshore Drive Friday.
Newtown Township Police are looking into a burglary on Liberty Drive, as well as another attempted burglary on Bayshore Drive. According to police, a home on Liberty Drive was burglarized at some point during the day Monday. The victim told responding officers that when she came home from being out for a few hours, jewelry was missing and the basement door was not functioning properly. The investigation has been turned over to detectives. Liberty Drive is located off Swamp Road across from Bucks County Community College. On Friday morning, police were dispatched to a home on Bayshore Drive for a report of a burglar alarm.
